Monthly
For highly visible shops: a spotless window at all times, a polished image.
Interior and exterior windows, bay windows, glass façades, shop windows and conservatories: a streak-free finish, as a one-off or on a regular basis.
Clean windows instantly change how a building, a shop or an office looks. FHN Clean cleans interior and exterior windows for businesses, shops, buildings and co-owned properties in Mons, Hainaut, Wallonia and Brussels. We work on a one-off basis (before an event, to prepare a sale, after building work) or on a regular schedule (monthly, quarterly, every six months), depending on your needs.
Save time: send us the floor area, the frequency you want and photos.
The quote form lets you upload images (current condition / access constraints), which speeds up the handling of your request.

A structured method that delivers consistent, documented and repeatable results from one visit to the next.
Total area, access, type of glazing, constraints (height, safety).
The right method: professional squeegee, pure water, telescopic poles for height.
Logical order top → bottom, treatment of marks, finishing of frames.
Checked from different angles and in different light to make sure there are no streaks.
For regular contracts: an annual schedule and a reminder before each visit.
More frequent in spring and autumn, less so in high summer or a mild winter.
For highly visible shops: a spotless window at all times, a polished image.
For offices and office buildings: a balance between image and budget, the most common frequency.
Before an event, twice a year, or to complement existing cleaning.
FHN Clean provides window cleaning in Mons and throughout Hainaut. We also cover Charleroi, La Louvière, Tournai and Brussels for regular contracts and larger one-off jobs.

Entrance halls, stairwells, car parks, contracts for property managers (syndics).

It is almost never the product. It is the method, the water and the order in which things are done. Here is what we do, and what you can check for yourself.
A spotless pane in a grimy frame still looks dirty. Water held in the rebate runs down at the first shower and streaks the glass from top to bottom. We vacuum the rebate and clean the seal before touching the glass — and that is why a serious quote is not the same price as a quick run with a squeegee.
That is the real question, and the one most quotes gloss over.
A window-cleaning quote that says nothing about height or access is a quote whose price will change on site. Ask for it to be in writing.
What decides is not appearance, it is exposure:
Glass on a building site carries splashes of paint, plaster and silicone, and sometimes a protective film baked on by the sun. It is scraped off with a blade, held flat, on wet glass — never dry, never with solvent on a uPVC frame. It is a separate item, and it appears in our post-construction cleaning quotes under its own heading.
A badly cleaned window does not show straight away — it shows at the first low ray of sunlight. Here is what separates a clean that lasts from one that leaves a haze.
Tap water contains minerals — mostly limescale. As it dries, they stay on the glass: those are the white marks and the haze. Purified water is water from which these minerals have been removed by reverse osmosis. It dries without leaving anything behind, which means we can clean without wiping, using a brush and pole.
In practical terms: from the ground, we can reach windows that used to need a cherry picker or a ladder, up to a height of about three storeys. It is safer, faster, and there is no machine taking up your car park.
A quote that only mentions the glass is incomplete. What should be in it:
Fixed frames, opening casements, rebates. That is where dust and insects build up; a clean pane in a black frame achieves nothing.
Inside and outside, or outside only? The price difference is real, and so is the difference in result.
Window sills, patio-door thresholds, glass balustrades. Often left out of the quote, always in plain sight.
| Situation | Frequency | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Shop window | 1× / week to 1× / fortnight | Handprints, rain, splashes from the street |
| Offices, sheltered façade | 2 to 4× / year | Slow build-up, mainly pollen |
| Building by a road | 4 to 6× / year | Traffic dust, greasy film |
| Conservatory, glass roof | 2× / year | Moss and plant debris in spring and autumn |
| After building work | One-off job | Cement, silicone, labels: this is scraping, not washing |
The right time: not in full sun. On warm glass, the water dries before it is removed and leaves streaks whatever you do. We schedule large façades early in the morning or on overcast days — not as a preference, but because the result depends on it.
